Welcome And Focus On Faith
SPEAKER_00Welcome back to Accentuate Life, Everyday Leadership for Kingdom Living. I'm Dr. Rita, and I'm grateful you are here. Today we're talking about something foundational to everything we've discussed so far. Peace, joy, clarity, courage, and that is faith. Faith is the anchor of kingdom living. Without faith, peace becomes fragile, joy becomes circumstantial, clarity becomes self-generated, and courage becomes temporary. Hebrews 11 1 tells us now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is not wishful thinking. Faith is confident trust in God's character, even when outcomes are not visible. To accentuate faith means we intentionally magnify God's promises over our present uncertainty. Faith grows when the path isn't fully clear, the timeline feels delayed, the answer hasn't arrived yet, and this is important. Faith is not passive, it is active trust. James reminds us that faith without works is dead. That means faith moves, faith steps, faith responds. As leaders, faith influences how we make decisions, handle setbacks, interpret challenges, persevere when results are slow. When faith is weak, fear gets really loud. When faith is nurtured, fear loses authority. Romans 10 17 tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. That means faith is strengthened through exposure to truth. The more we align ourselves with God's Word, the more our faith matures. To accentuate faith is to ask, What does God say about this? Where have I seen his faithfulness before? Am I responding from fear or from trust? Faith does not guarantee comfort, it guarantees companionship, because God is present in every step we take in obedience. Here's a question to reflect on this week. Where in your life is God asking you to trust Him more fully, even if you cannot yet see the outcome? Faith often begins with one obedient step. If your faith feels stretched right now, that doesn't mean it's failing. Stretching builds strength. And God does not shame us for small faith. He invites us to grow. And every time you choose trust over fear, you are accentuating faith in your life. Thank you for spending this time with me on Accentuate Life Podcast. Until next time, lead with intention, live with purpose, and let's continue to accentuate the leader within.
